Congratulation to our All State Choir Members

Congratulations to the three 2014-15 Cypress Creek All-State Choir Members

Nathan Ponder, Tenor 1, All-State Mixed Choir   Matt Ramsdal, Bass 1, All-State Men’s Choir,  and Jordan Reynolds, Tenor 2, All-State Men’s Choir,  competed in San Antonio Sunday against the top 20 students from 120 schools in Austin, San Antonio and Houston to earn  top positions in the TMEA All-State Choir. They have competed in four rigorous auditions to earn this special recognition. Annually, 40,000 students try out for this

honor. This places them in the top 1% of singers in the state of Texas.

Nathan Ponder, Matt Ramsdal, and Jordan Reynolds will attend the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in February 11-14 at San Antonio for this special honor.

Nathan Ponder, Tenor 1, has earned the honor of All-State Choir for the 2^nd year in a row. This is a very difficult honor to achieve. We congratulate him on attaining this outstanding achievement.
