Orchestra shines at solo and ensemble contest

The orchestra had solo and ensemble this weekend at Cy Springs High School and our students did very well. We competed in 60 solo events and 10 ensemble events. Forty one(68%) of our solos received a 1st division score and six (60%) of ensembles did as well.  Ten of our students who received a  1st division rating on their solos did so in the hardest classification (class 1). Eight of our students qualified for state solo and ensemble. The kids did very well and represented Cy Creek well!
