FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS BEGIN NOV. 13

Quarterback Luke Allen (15) and the Cypress Creek Cougars tied for third place in District 17-6A. They will face Aldine Davis on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Thorne Stadium in the Division II Region III-6A bi-district playoffs.
The District 17-6A football season concluded on Nov. 7 with four CFISD teams placing atop the standings to qualify for the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region III-6A playoffs.
Cypress Ranch High School was the District 17-6A champion, with an undefeated 9-0 record. Cypress Falls High School (7-2) was the runner-up, with Cypress Creek (6-3) and Cy-Fair high schools tying for third place.
Cypress Falls and Cy-Fair, possessing the largest two snapshot enrollments of the four teams, will represent CFISD in the Division I bracket. Cypress Ranch and Cypress Creek, with the smaller two enrollments, will compete in the Division II bracket.

Running back/defensive back Desmond Hite (6) and the Cypress Falls Golden Eagles were the District 17-6A runners-up. They will meet Aldine Nimitz on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. at the Berry Center in the Division I Region III-6A bi-district playoffs.
The following Division II bi-district round playoff games are set forFriday, Nov. 13:
  • Cypress Ranch will face Memorial High School at 7 p.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road); and
  • Cypress Creek will meet Aldine Davis at 7 p.m. at Thorne Stadium (1865 Aldine Bender Road) in Aldine.
The following Division I bi-district round playoff games are set forSaturday, Nov. 14:
  • Cypress Falls will face Aldine Nimitz at 1 p.m. at the Berry Center; and
  • Cy-Fair will meet Aldine Eisenhower at 6 p.m. at Thorne Stadium.

Linebacker/safety Amaud Willis-Dalton (27) and the district champion Cypress Ranch Mustangs will face Memorial on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Berry Center in the Division II Region III-6A bi-district playoffs.
Presale playoff tickets will be sold for $4 (students) and $7 (adults).
For playoff games at the Berry Center, season ticket holders can re-purchase their season ticket seats beginning Monday, Nov. 9 at 8 a.m. through Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 11:59 p.m. Additional reserved seats may be purchased Wednesday, Nov. 11. The general public will be permitted to purchase any available reserved seats and general admission seats on Wednesday.

Tight end Brock Wright (87) and the Cy-Fair Bobcats tied for third place in District 17-6A. They will face Aldine Eisenhower on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at Thorne Stadium in the Division I Region III-6A bi-district playoffs. 
Tickets may be purchased online at www.cy-fairtix.com or in person at the athletic office of the Berry Center (use entrance 2).
For playoff games at Aldine ISD’s Thorne Stadium, CFISD will offer online ticket sales beginning Monday at 8 a.m. for the entire community. Thorne Stadium tickets are general admission only.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at each campus and will also be available at the athletic office. 
Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 (students) and $8 (adults).
