Cypress Creek High School defeated Memorial High School in three games (2-1, 0-12 and 6-0) to qualify for area. The Cougars will match up with Strake Jesuit in a best-of-three series:
- Game 1 will be Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m. at Strake Jesuit High School (8900 Bellaire Blvd.);
- Game 2 is Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m. at Cypress Creek High School (9815 Grant Road); and
- Game 3, if necessary, is scheduled for Saturday, May 14 at 2 p.m. at Jersey Village High School (7600 Solomon St.).
